Unusually enough, the couple who own this 5-room flat were not too concerned about creating more space. What more, they had move from a larger apartment to this 110 sqm unit. Homeowners generally like their homes to look as large as possible, but this wasn't a priority here.

We even replaced part of one wall of the master bathroom with a glass divider, so that you can catch a glimpse of the vanity area from the bedroom. This allows the naked contemporary of the bathroom - with its glass and wood-clad walls - to flow into the bedroom. Both rooms remain light and airy in atmosphere.
In the bedroom, light bars were set into the ashwood platform and headboard "to give the room a soft, intimate feel. The low-set lights cast a very warm glow around the bed and is very relaxing."

The considerable use of modern iconic designs, versatile space planning, ample storage, and the and strutured design lines make this three-rooms flat perfect for the young and design-conscious.
The minute you step in, you will be blowed over by the winsome settings, lush furniture and elegant accessories. Unlike most apartments where the living room is boxed in, the designer freed the area somewhat by breaking down the walls of the study and guestroom.

The master bathroom of this semi-detached home could have been all hard edges and cold industrial style with its monotone colour pallete of black, greys and sleek reflective surfaces. But it isn't strategically positioned at the front of the home on the second floor, the generous flow of sunlight streaming in works to soften the hard architectural edge of the design. A green border of swaying bamboo further enhances that bright, airy feel and impart a Zen-like air of calm.
"The plans help to break the monotony of the home's front facade and the minimal enclosure makes sure the bathroom's always naturally ventilated".
Not sealing up the main light source of the bathroom made all the difference instead, a mirror is suspended lengthwise between the plants outside in the planter box and the bathroom, provideing privacy from road traffic and allowing light to come in. I especially like the effect of the sunlight filtering through the bamboo into the bathroom. The vanity countertop is similarly suspended so as not to block the full decorative impact of the bamboo, with its peeble border. At night, soptlights shining up from the base of the plants create a romantic mood.
